The English Karate Academy is one of the largest karate organisations in England.

We teach Shukokai Karate to Children, Adults & Families age 4+ across many different venues every day of the week.

We are very much a family friendly karate club and welcome all children and adults who want to enjoy the benefits of karate.

Founded by Sensei Gary Foxwell 7th Dan who has been practising and teaching karate for over 35 years. Sensei Gary began his karate training under the great Sensei Tommy Kwan 8th Dan in 1980.

Sensei Gary has dedicated his life to karate and has competed at the highest level - representing England at various International Karate Championships around the world with the English Karate Governing Body and the British Karate Federation. He has won multiple British, European and World titles. 

The English Karate Academy are now direct members of the World Union of Karate Do Federations (WUKF) and have a highly successful England Karate Team who are consistently winning titles in England and abroad.

Sensei Gary is a full time Professional Karate Instructor and teaches karate classes across several different venues as well as operating a full time purpose built Karate Dojo in Culcheth - Warrington.

 

Other local classes are at Leigh Sports Village - Wigan , Lowton Church Lane Community Center, New Church Parish Hall Culcheth.

We offer affordable karate training for all and encourage our students to be able to train more for less.
